Out of the three plays we read this semester A Raisin in the Sun was definitely my favorite. There was more appeal in that play than in the others. Lorraine Hansberry kept you interested and informed with her writing. The facts she included about the living situations of blacks and keeping the black dialogue made the Younger family more realistic. There was always something different happening which kept it more exciting and it was fun predicting what would happen in the next act.
